Aura's Magic
A demonic spell that bends the will of those with lesser mana.
Aura Bella Fiora is a demon who lived during the era of the Demon King. Her magical ability centers on the 'Scales of Obedience' (or 'Aureole'), a spell that controls those with less mana than herself. She is one of the formidable threats encountered by Frieren and her companions during their journey across the Northern Lands.
Lore & Background
Aura's power stems from her nature as a demon. Her signature technique, the 'Scales of Obedience,' allows her to dominate any opponent whose total mana is lower than her own. When she used this spell against Fern, Frieren intervened by suppressing her own mana to deceive Aura, allowing Fern to land the decisive blow. Aura's defeat highlighted Frieren's strategic deception and Fern's growth under her tutelage.
Reader's Guide
Aura's magic functions through the 'Scales of Obedience' (or 'Aureole'). This spell controls any opponent whose total mana is lower than her own. To counter this spell, one must possess enough mana to exceed Aura's, or employ a strategy such as Frieren's deception of suppressing her own mana to trick Aura into a false sense of superiority, allowing an ally with less mana to land a decisive blow. The magic is exclusively wielded by Aura Bella Fiora.
