History

FK Brskovo was founded in 1932 as the first football team in Mojkovac. From 1932 to 1941, the team played mostly exhibition matches, with a popular regional rivalry against FK Gorštak. After World War II, the club's first significant success came in the 1960–61 season, when they won the Fourth League title and gained their first promotion to the Montenegrin Republic League. During the 1960s, FK Brskovo spent most seasons in the Republic League but without significant successes.

For nearly two decades after that, they played only in the lowest rank until the 1988–89 season, when they won the Fourth League – North title and returned to the Republic League. From 1990 to 2006, the club spent most seasons in the Fourth League. Following Montenegrin independence in 2006, FK Brskovo became a member of the Montenegrin Third League. They won the competition in the 2014–15 season, gaining their first-ever promotion to the Montenegrin Second League.

In their debut Second League season, they had a hard struggle with FK Jezero and FK Igalo, but at the end they were relegated. From 2011 to 2016, FK Brskovo played three finals of the Northern Region Cup, winning two titles, which gave them opportunities to play in the Montenegrin Cup. In that competition, they played three times in the Round of 16, with notable games against First-League sides OFK Petrovac (0–2, 0–0; 2011–12), FK Zeta (2–1, 0–3; 2015–16), and FK Lovćen (2–4, 0–1; 2016–17).

The 2015–16 season remains the club's only appearance in the Montenegrin Second League. Notable players who started their careers in FK Brskovo's youth team include Stefan Savić, Dragan Bogavac, and Miodrag Božović.
