First Aid Council of India
Promoting first aid education through university partnerships in India.
The First Aid Council of India (FACI) is a non-governmental organization based in Shahdara, Delhi. It was founded in 2017 by educationist and author Shabab Aalam to advance first aid education across India. The council offers certificate and diploma courses in collaboration with several Indian universities.

History
Shabab Aalam established the First Aid Council of India in 2017, basing it on the concept of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Its headquarters are in Shahdara, Delhi. In November 2020, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University in Bhopal began setting up study centers with FACI's teaching support to promote first aid education in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Venkateshwara University partnered with FACI in October 2021 to conduct first aid courses. Aalam also serves as the council's president.
