Gori debuted with Inter Milan, making 7 appearances between 1964 and 1966. He was sent to Lanerossi Vicenza for two seasons in 1966, while Luis Vinicio moved to Inter in a separate deal. He returned to Inter in 1968, then in 1969 was sold to Cagliari Calcio along with Angelo Domenghini, with Roberto Boninsegna moving to Inter plus a cash adjustment. He moved to Juventus in 1975, spent two seasons there, and ended his Serie A career with Hellas Verona in 1977–78. He finished his career in 1979 after a season with Sant'Angelo in Serie C1.
