Snow White: A Deadly Summer is a 2012 American horror film directed by David DeCoteau. It stars Shanley Caswell, Maureen McCormick, and Eric Roberts, and is inspired by the Brothers Grimm tale 'Snow White'. The film was released straight to DVD and digital download on March 20, 2012.
Plot
Widower Grant remarries Eve, who does not get along with his daughter Snow White, as they compete for his attention. Eve, with a hidden agenda, suggests sending Snow to a rehabilitation camp for juvenile delinquents. Snow overhears and walks off, telling Eve that Grant would never send her away. Eve accuses Snow of sabotaging her relationship with Grant, claiming her concern for Snow brought them closer.
Eve then converses with her own reflection, which insists sending Snow away is the best plan. In a psychotic state, Eve follows the reflection's advice, motivated by jealousy of Snow's bond with Grant. Snow is abducted by two men and taken to the camp, as Eve smirks. At the camp, other juvenile delinquents are killed one by one.
Snow has psychic dreams showing the killings and giving clues about the killer, and the staff seem to hide something, as the camp has a history of mysterious deaths. Eve is revealed to be behind the killings. After killing Lyla, who went to school with her, Eve targets Snow, ranting that she supported Grant after his first wife's death.
Eve accuses Snow of being selfish and uncaring about her biological mother, and says that with Snow gone, she and Grant could live happily ever after. Eve dies in her attempt to kill Snow during their final battle. In a twist, everything Snow experienced was a nightmare from a drug overdose. Grant reveals that Eve actually committed suicide by jumping off a building after being told he would not abandon Snow for her.

The review also criticized the title, suggesting alternatives such as Snow White and the Seven Delinquents or Snow White: A Deadly Dullness. Dawn Hunt of DVD Verdict panned the film, stating it fails on any expectations from the Snow White title.
