Background
A vacationing family is ambushed by a cannibalistic group of misfits, played by the Butthole Surfers, in this 1988 spoof of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The father, Jerry, and his wife are given hallucinogenic drinks, and their son Jerry Jr. is killed. His flesh is later served as dinner. After the meal, Jerry searches for his son but instead finds the band performing "Fast" (also known as "Fart Song") in a scene that closely mimics their notorious live shows. Other Butthole Surfers songs heard include "Concubine," "Weber," "Graveyard," and an alternate version of "Fast." The film ends with Jerry waking up in a fenced area with his wife, who tells him to eat his breakfast—the remains of Jerry Jr. The cast includes John Hawkes as Jerry, along with band members King Coffey, Gibby Haynes, Paul Leary, Kathleen Lynch, Jeff Pinkus, and Teresa Taylor, plus Randy Turner and Alex Winter in small roles.
