Plot

A thousand years before the present, the Six Dark Lords nearly drove humanity to extinction. In the present, a girl named Riselia Ray Crystalia accidentally undoes the seal, and Leonis awakens in the body of a ten-year-old child. Mistaken for a Void refugee, Riselia takes him in, and Leonis begins to learn what has become of the world.

Characters

Leonis Death Magnus, the Undead King and strongest of the Dark Lords, awakens in a ten-year-old child's body one thousand years later. Riselia Ray Crystalia unwittingly undid the seal on Leonis's mausoleum and died protecting him from a Void; Leonis revived her with the tenth-order spell 'Create Elder Undead,' turning her into a Vampire Queen. Her parents were killed by a Void when she was young, giving her a strong sense of justice. She later develops feelings for Leonis. Regina Mercedes, Riselia's childhood friend and personal maid, is actually the former Fourth Princess of the Integrated Empire, Regina Ray O'ltriese, removed from the family due to being born under a superstitious star. Sakuya Sieglinde, the youngest in the platoon after Leonis, has a record of conquering Voids alone. Elfiné Phillet, a caring senior who serves as telegraphist, lost companions to Voids and uses a support-specialized holy sword. Fenris Edelritz, a childhood friend of Riselia and captain of the 11th Platoon, argues with Riselia but is protective of her. Arakael Degradios, the Archsage of the Six Heroes, survived a thousand years and fought Leonis as a Void Lord before being erased. Roselia Ishtaris, the Goddess of Rebellion, saved Leonis from human nobles' betrayal and turned him into a Dark Lord.
