Feyenoord vs Inter Milan
The 2002 UEFA Cup semi-final and the 2025 Champions League tie.
Feyenoord and Internazionale met in the semi-final of the 2001-02 UEFA Cup. Feyenoord won 1-0 in Milan and drew 2-2 in Rotterdam, then beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in a final played at De Kuip, still the last major European trophy won by a Dutch club.

After the semi-final, Inter midfielder and former Ajax player Clarence Seedorf said he had enjoyed the atmosphere in De Kuip despite being given the bird. The clubs met again in the 2024-25 Champions League round of 16, after Feyenoord had knocked out AC Milan in the preliminary rounds, and Inter eliminated Feyenoord, by then coached by Robin van Persie.
