The film reveals that the being calling itself Solomon is actually the Demon God Goetia, formerly the original Solomon's familiar before possessing his corpse and evolving into Beast I. Goetia is angry that humans are afflicted by the inevitability of death and plans to use the incineration of humanity to create a new world where death doesn't exist. Romani later reveals himself to be the real Solomon, having been summoned by Marisbury Animusphere to fight in the 2004 Fuyuki Holy Grail War—the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fate/stay night canon.

He used his wish on the Holy Grail to become human, a process enabled by his Noble Phantasm Ars Nova. He kept his tenth ring, which is the key to Ars Nova; without it, the Noble Phantasm cannot be used. He casts Ars Nova, returning all his gifts to God and causing all of his achievements to disappear, greatly weakening Goetia. The Time Temple begins to collapse after Solomon's sacrifice, and the Demon Gods are thrown into disarray.

Reader's Guide

The film begins with Ritsuka and Mash Rayshifting to the final Singularity, the Time Temple. They encounter Lev Lainur Flauros who transforms into his Demon God form and attacks with the other seventy one Demon Gods. Jeanne D'Arc arrives as a beacon to summon Heroic Spirits who open a path. Romani deduces that something inside Solomon's body is controlling his corpse. At the Throne, Goetia reveals himself as Beast I and uses Ars Almadel Salomis. Mash is incinerated blocking it. Romani reveals himself as the real Solomon and uses Ars Nova, weakening Goetia. The Time Temple collapses. Ritsuka defeats Goetia with a Command Spell-empowered punch. Goetia disappears content. Fou revives Mash who saves Ritsuka. They return to Chaldea to celebrate their victory.
