Kampanerang Kuba

Kampanerang Kuba (also known internationally as Enchanting Fatima) is a Philippine television drama series that aired on ABS-CBN in 2005. The show was directed by Wenn V. Deramas and Andoy Ranay, with Anne Curtis playing the lead role. It also featured Christian Bautista, Luis Manzano, and Patrick Garcia. The story is based on a character created by Pablo S. Gomez and loosely follows the 1973 Philippine film of the same name. The series was part of ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida lineup and aired worldwide on TFC from July 4 to December 16, 2005. It is now available online on ABS-CBN Entertainment and Jeepney TV's YouTube channels.

The plot follows half-sisters Lucia and Lourdes Saavedra. Lucia loves Antonio, a poor man her father disapproves of, while Lourdes falls for Martin, unaware he is Prinsipe Abuk—a man who betrayed his people to become human instead of a hunchback. After Lucia marries Antonio, she believes he was killed in a beating arranged by her father, thanks to her maid Jacinta, who lied to win his love. Lucia is also told her baby daughter was stillborn, though she suspects otherwise. On the same night, Lourdes gives birth to a hunchbacked girl. Martin swaps the babies, leaving his own child at a church.

The hunchbacked girl, named Imang, grows up to ring the church bell and later becomes Lourdes's nursemaid, bonding with her immediately. Lourdes's "daughter" Veronica grows jealous and finds comfort with Aunt Lucia, who has returned home with her American husband and stepson Luke. Lucia doubts Veronica is her child, feeling no motherly bond. Lourdes grows jealous of Lucia's closeness to Martin. After Martin falsely accuses Imang of stealing a sacred crown, the nuns revive her and give her a candle that makes her human when lit. She uses it to pose as Lucia's long-lost daughter Bernadette, staying close to Lourdes—who later learns from the nuns that Imang is her real daughter.

Veronica, angry that Luke loves Bernadette instead of her, uses magic to transform into Agatha and seeks revenge. Pablo, who once mocked Imang, falls for Bernadette, while Lorenzo loved Imang when she was still a hunchback. After Lucia's husband Clark dies, she discovers Antonio is alive but paralyzed, believing she betrayed him. They eventually learn Veronica is their daughter. In the end, all parentage is revealed. Bernadette no longer needs the candle to stay human.
