Jersey Bulls Football Club was formed on 7 August 2018, following a rejected 2015 application by the Jersey Football Association to join UEFA and FIFA. In September 2018, the club announced its logo and kit, incorporating the island's dairy heritage and the Jersey flag. The club applied to join the English football league system via The Football Association, and in November 2018, the FA approved their bid to join Division One of the Combined Counties League for the 2019–20 season. Former Muratti Vase winner Gary Freeman was appointed as the club's first manager in January 2019.

The 2019–20 season began with friendlies against Stevenage and Leicester City Under-23s. The club achieved 27 consecutive league wins, setting a Combined Counties League record, but the season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020–21 season was also curtailed, but the club was promoted to the Premier Division South for 2021–22. After finishing 4th, 3rd, and 2nd in subsequent seasons, they entered the playoffs.
