Trevor Steven
Right-sided midfielder for Everton, Rangers, and Marseille; FA Cup winner and European Cup Winners' Cup scorer.
Trevor McGregor Steven (born 21 September 1963) is an English former professional footballer who played as a right-sided midfielder. He progressed through the ranks at Burnley, making his debut in 1981. He became known as a member of the successful Everton side of the 1980s and went on to be part of the Rangers '9-in-a-row' team. Steven was also successful with France's Marseille and gained 36 international caps for England. He works as a presenter for RTÉ Sport in Ireland.

Steven began his career with Burnley upon leaving school in summer 1980, making his debut as a substitute on 14 April 1981. He joined Everton in summer 1983 for £300,000. He won the FA Cup with Everton in 1984, the First Division title in 1984–85, and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1985, scoring in the final. He left Everton in 1989 for Rangers, then moved to Marseille in 1991 for £5.5 million, winning the French league title. He returned to Rangers in 1992 and retired in 1997, having been part of Rangers' nine successive Scottish league titles.
