Lordi
Finland's monster-masked hard rock band, 2006 winners.
Lordi is a Finnish rock band from Rovaniemi, formed in 1992 by singer, songwriter and costume maker Mr Lordi, the only constant member. The band is known for monster masks, horror imagery and pyrotechnics, and its members keep their unmasked faces private. Lordi broke through in 2002 with "Would You Love a Monsterman?" and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens with "Hard Rock Hallelujah".
