Background
In 2012, Shane Embury of Napalm Death took over bass duties from Devin Townsend. The trio then cut a set of new songs written and produced by Dirk Verbeuren. The first track, "Partners In Grind," came out on a free digital split single with Torture Division called Double Penetration. A split EP with Swedish band Usurpress, titled Animalist/Usurpress, arrived in early 2014 on CD and 10-inch vinyl. Another split, Ascend/Descend, paired them with Cleveland's To Dust on 12-inch vinyl in July 2016. Soilwork's Sylvain Coudret added guest guitar leads on "Dead Meat," "Fashion Victims," "To The Extreme," and "Gluttonous Death."
