Benjamin David Edwards, known professionally as Benge, is an English musician and record producer based in Cornwall, England. His work primarily falls within the experimental electronic music field.

Solo career
Benge launched Expanding Records in 1995 to release his debut album Electro-orgoustic Music. The label focuses on instrumental electronic music and grew to include about 20 artists worldwide. He also runs Memetune Studios, which houses a large collection of vintage synthesisers and recording equipment. His tenth studio album Twenty Systems (2008) was a concept album featuring twenty tracks made on twenty different synthesisers from 1968 to 1988, accompanied by a book. Since 2012, Benge has released regular solo albums online, often using a one-synthesiser-per-album concept.
The Memetune Programme
In 2023 Benge launched a series of 40-minute documentary episodes on his YouTube channel focusing on his Memetune studio activities. Each episode covers synthesiser history, modular patching, music production and vintage video gear. As of 2026 there have been three series totalling 18 episodes. For each six-part series, he publishes a hard-back colour Annual summarising the episodes and containing a link to a musical album.
