Maelstrom

A god-forged hammer whose attacks can release chain lightning.

Maelstrom is an Artifacts item in the Main Shop, built from a Mithril Hammer, a Javelin and Gloves of Haste. It gives 25 attack damage and 25 attack speed, and its passive, Chain Lightning, gives attacks a chance to send a bolt that jumps between nearby enemies for magic damage. It upgrades into Mjollnir.

Background

Its lore says it is a hammer forged for the gods that lets the user command lightning.
