Love Is Like a Butterfly is the fourteenth solo studio album by American entertainer Dolly Parton, released on September 16, 1974, by RCA Victor. The title track became Parton's third consecutive number one single on the U.S. country charts. Before her later pop success, the song was considered her signature work and served as the theme for her 1976 syndicated music series Dolly!.
