The Winnipeg Rowing Club (WRC) operates on the Red River in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. It offers competitive rowing programs for both adults and youth, regularly sending crews to events such as the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, the Western Canada Summer Games, and the Canada Games. The club also provides recreational and independent rowing opportunities.

Founded in 1881 by cousins John Galt II and George Galt, the club was officially incorporated on February 2, 1883. Its early leadership included Premier John Norquay as Club Patron, Thomas Renwick as president, and George Galt as Club Captain.

Beyond rowing, the WRC has a history of involvement in other sports, having fielded teams in the Manitoba Rugby Football Union, the Manitoba Hockey Association, and the Canadian Amateur Hockey League. From 1902 to 1906, its ice hockey team competed in the Manitoba Hockey Association, winning league championships in 1903 and 1904. In 1904, the team challenged the Ottawa Silver Seven for the Stanley Cup. Players on that squad included William Breen and Hockey Hall of Famer Joe Hall.
