"I Remember" is a song by Canadian electronic music producer Deadmau5 and American DJ Kaskade, featuring vocals by Haley Gibby. It was released as the fifth single from Deadmau5's album Random Album Title on 15 September 2008. The track was produced by Deadmau5 and co-written by Kaskade with Finn Bjarnson.

Music video
Two versions of the music video exist: a 10-minute short film and a 4-minute edit. Directed by Colin O'Toole and produced by Anthony and Christopher Donnelly and Mike Moran, the video was filmed in Manchester and stars Stephen Graham, Warren Brown, Aston Kelly, Greg Costello, and Emma Edmondson. Graham's character speaks with two young men about life and rave culture; the men then locate a venue for an illegal rave where Deadmau5 performs. The video includes a raver wearing a Kaskade t-shirt and Deadmau5 in a YourOwnClothing shirt. At its close, the Deadmau5 track "Brazil (2nd edit)" plays as an outro. Graham nearly faced arrest after police mistook the filming for a genuine illegal rave. The video ends with a "to be continued" card, though no designated continuation has appeared. The audio-only upload on Ultra Music's YouTube channel had 84.2 million plays by June 2024.
Appearances
A remix by FreeStyleGames appears in the 2010 video games GoldenEye 007 and DJ Hero 2. The song was included on the soundtrack of the 2011 film The Lincoln Lawyer, playing during a scene where Jesus Martínez recounts events of a murder night. It also features in the Gossip Girl episode "The Empire Strikes Jack" (Season 3 episode 16), where Deadmau5 himself performs the song at Eleanor Waldorf's pop-up fashion show. Hip-hop duo Suicideboys sampled large sections of "I Remember" on their track "Antarctica". Deadmau5 publicly criticized the duo on Twitter for publicizing intellectual property without consent. "Antarctica" was removed from YouTube and SoundCloud by Suicideboys; no further action was taken. The track was reuploaded to Spotify and YouTube in late 2021 with Deadmau5 receiving considerable publishing credits.
Charts performance
In the United Kingdom, the single peaked at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart on 17 May 2009 and spent nine weeks in the top 40. It received a silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry for 200,000 units sold. During summer 2009, the song was frequently played in UK clubs, particularly larger London venues. In the United States, it reached number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart on 17 October 2009, giving the duo their second consecutive number one together after "Move for Me" (2008).
