Helge Doppler (portrayed by Hermann Beyer and Peter Schneider) is the son of Peter Doppler. In 1953, at the age of 9, Helge is caught in the middle of an attack by Ulrich Nielsen, who is actually trying to murder the adult Helge (who has traveled to 1953) with a rock. The child Helge is only accidentally struck during the struggle, leaving him with a scar. After the attack, Noah takes the 9-year-old Helge to the bunker and sends him through a wormhole to 1986. There, Helge is taken under Noah's wing and manipulated into being his henchman, a role he maintains over several decades.
