Gorilla Arms
Oversized mechanical hands for crushing force.
Gorilla Arms are a body modification from the video game Cyberpunk 2077, a tie-in to the Cyberpunk role-playing game universe. In the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the character Rebecca equips the "Gorilla Arms" body modification, which gives her oversized mechanical red and blue hands on her right and left wrists respectively.
Lore & Background
In Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Rebecca uses Gorilla Arms as her primary weapon. The modification gives her oversized mechanical hands—red on the right wrist and blue on the left. She equips these arms during the show's climax, when she helps protagonist David rescue his girlfriend Lucy. After the rescue, they are attacked by the villain Adam Smasher. Rebecca attempts to shoot him, but she dies instantly when he lands on and crushes her into the ground. Her shotgun, named "Guts," was later added as an in-game item for Cyberpunk 2077.
