Yearn began his senior career at Cambridge United, making his debut on 31 August 2021 and becoming the youngest player to ever score for the club in a 4–1 EFL Trophy victory over Oxford United. He had loan spells at Chelmsford City (twice, in the 2022–23 season), King's Lynn Town (September 2023), Maidenhead United (August 2025 to January 2026), and Chesham United (one-month loan in January 2026). He was part of the Cambridge side that reached the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals in 2022–23. Yearn departed Cambridge United after the 2023–24 season and signed for Championship side Coventry City on 3 July 2024, joining the development side. He was released upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the 2025–26 season. Internationally, he was called up to the England under-16 squad in March 2021 and selected for England U17 in August 2021.
