Reader's Guide
The Dreaming Sea is the metaphysical heart of the Cradle universe, representing the source of all Archangel power and the boundary between order and chaos. Its significance lies in its inhabitants: the Archangels. These entities are so powerful that their mere presence defines the limits of what is possible in the world. The Sea acts as a containment field, keeping these cosmic forces dormant and preventing them from accidentally destroying reality through their dreams. For adventurers and mages, the Dreaming Sea represents the ultimate frontier. It is a place where conventional rules break down, offering infinite potential for growth but also carrying the risk of total annihilation.
