Disney Koe no Ōji-sama

Disney Koe no Ōji-sama (Disney 声の王子様, meaning "Disney Princes of Voice") is a Japanese project by Walt Disney Japan that produces cover albums and concerts. Launched in 2012, it presents Disney songs in Japanese, sung by voice actors from anime. Following a pause of about 3 years and 10 months, the series returned in 2018 as annual concerts under the name Disney Koe no Ōji-sama Voice Stars.
The first album, *Disney Date: Koe no Ōji-sama*, was announced in January 2012 and released on February 22, 2012, featuring ten voice actors including Hiroshi Kamiya, Kenichi Suzumura, and Jun Fukuyama. A second album, *Disney Koe no Ōji-sama Dai-ni Shō: Love Stories*, came out on September 19, 2012, with returning performers and new additions like Akira Ishida and Nobuhiko Okamoto. The third album, *Disney Koe no Ōji-sama: Tokyo Disney Resort 30 Shūnen Kinen Shū*, celebrated the resort's 30th anniversary on March 27, 2013, with new singers such as Daisuke Ono and Yuki Kaji. A compilation, *Disney Koe no Ōji-sama All Stars*, followed on November 5, 2014.
In 2018, the project revived as *Disney Koe no Ōji-sama Voice Stars*, starting with the album *Dream Selection* on September 29, 2018, and a concert, *Koe no Ōji-sama: Disney Voice Stars Dream Live 2019*, on June 9, 2019 in Chiba. Participants included Kaito Ishikawa, Yuto Uemura, and Kensho Ono. On the concert day, *Dream Selection II* was announced, releasing on September 25, 2019, with a cast that included Shintarō Asanuma, Kōhei Amasaki, and stage actors Yoshihiko Aramaki, Ren Ozawa, Akira Takano, and Shohei Hashimoto. This album reached #4 on the Oricon Weekly Albums Ranking. To promote it, Kimura, Takano, and Aramaki performed on *Music Fair* on September 27, 2019. The *Dream Selection II* concert, *Koe no Ōji-sama: Disney Voice Stars Dream Live 2020*, was scheduled for July 12 and August 23, 2020. Amasaki, Aramaki, Ozawa, Kimura, Takano, Hashimoto, and Yamatani also appeared as Disney Koe no Ōji-sama Voice Stars at the FNS Music Festival Summer on August 26, 2020.
A third installment was announced in December 2020, starring Kent Ito, Keisuke Ueda, and others, with Kazuki Kato and Daisuke Namikawa as special guests. Their album, *Disney Koe no Ōji-sama Voice Stars Dream Selection III*, was set for release on February 24, 2021.
