Specifications

The Freedom is powered by an electric powertrain with either three or four electric motors, fed by a 100 kW or 120 kW battery pack, producing 1,414 and 1,903 hp respectively. The four-motor version claims a 0-60 mph time of 1.8 seconds, a top speed of 260 mph, and a range estimate of 400 miles on moderate driving. A two-speed automatic transmission at the rear axle, similar to that of the Porsche Taycan, allows only one motor to drive at lower speeds or during highway cruising.

Design

The Freedom was designed as a luxury hypercar, with its electric powertrain supplied by Cascadia Motion, a unit of BorgWarner that has also supplied electric motors for Formula E and KERS systems for Formula One. The hardware sits in a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque structure featuring an F1-style pushrod suspension, and the low profile yields a drag coefficient of 0.28 Cd.
