This longevity is what separates his record from others; he did not just win an award once or twice in a flash of brilliance, but maintained a level of performance that demanded recognition season after season. His legacy is woven into the fabric of Cloud9's identity, representing a golden age where the organization was consistently the benchmark for excellence in North America.
Reader's Guide
Bjergsen first captured the LCS MVP title during Cloud9's rise to prominence in the early years of the league. This initial award signaled his immediate impact on the North American scene, transforming him from a promising import into the region's premier talent. Following this breakthrough, he solidified his status by securing consecutive accolades as Cloud9 navigated through roster changes and meta shifts. Each MVP win corresponded with a period where Bjergsen was not only the best player on his team but arguably the most influential in the entire league. His record-breaking achievements were marked by versatility; whether piloting assassins, mages, or control champions, he consistently delivered game-winning performances that defined the split. These awards served as milestones for Cloud9's sustained success over nearly a decade of competition. The final addition to his trophy case came after years of unwavering consistency, cementing his place as the only player in LCS history to hold such a significant number of MVP honors.
