2015 WNBA Playoffs

Postseason tournament of the 2015 WNBA season.

The 2015 WNBA postseason concluded the league’s 2015 campaign. The champion was decided through a series of elimination rounds. Four teams from each conference earned playoff berths, seeded one through four according to their regular-season records. The first round, the Conference Semifinals, paired the top seed against the fourth seed and the second seed against the third seed in each conference.

The winners of those series met in the Conference Finals, with the victors advancing to the WNBA Finals. Both the Conference Semifinals and Conference Finals were best-of-three series using a 1-1-1 format, where the higher seed hosted games one and three, and the lower seed hosted game two. The WNBA Finals were a best-of-five series with a 2-2-1 format, giving the higher seed home-court advantage for games one, two, and five, while the lower seed hosted games three and four.

Tiebreaking procedures for two teams involved head-to-head record, conference winning percentage, record against teams with a .500 or better record, head-to-head point differential, and a coin toss. For three or more teams, the tie was broken by winning percentage among all tied teams, conference record (or opposite conference record for the Finals), record against .500-plus teams, point differential among tied teams, and a coin toss. In the Eastern Conference, the top-seeded New York Liberty faced the fourth-seeded Washington Mystics, and the second-seeded Chicago Sky met the third-seeded Indiana Fever.

Indiana defeated New York in the Conference Finals. In the Western Conference, the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx played the fourth-seeded Los Angeles Sparks, and the second-seeded Phoenix Mercury faced the third-seeded Tulsa Shock. Minnesota beat Phoenix in the Conference Finals. The WNBA Finals featured the Minnesota Lynx against the Indiana Fever.
