I'm in Miami Bitch

LMFAO's debut single, a party anthem for Miami.

LMFAO, the American electronic dance music duo, launched their career with the track "I'm in Miami Bitch," which radio stations often played as "I'm in Miami Trick." It hit the airwaves in August 2008 as the first single from their debut album Party Rock. The song climbed to number 51 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in July 2009 and also reached number 37 on the Canadian Hot 100. A remix featuring Pitbull was later released. The track became the theme for the 2009 reality show Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, and a "New York" version was used for Kourtney and Kim Take New York in 2011.

Did You Know?

Chuckie remix

A Chicago producer named DJ Inphinity mashed up the Silvio Ecomo remix of DJ Chuckie's 2008 track "Let the Bass Kick" with the vocals from LMFAO's "I'm in Miami Bitch" in early 2009. The resulting bootleg, known as "Let the Bass Kick in Miami Bitch" or the radio-friendly "Let the Bass Kick in Miami Girl," spread widely online and became a hit at the 2009 Miami Winter Music Conference. It saw a European release later that year, climbing into the top ten in the United Kingdom, where it hit number nine on the main singles chart. The track also reached the top 20 in Belgium's Flanders region and the Netherlands. Additionally, it secured the top spot on both the UK Dance Singles Chart and the UK Independent Singles Chart.

I'm in Your City Trick

In July 2009, a compilation album titled "I'm in Your City Trick" was released, containing mostly clean versions of "I'm in Miami Bitch" with Miami replaced by numerous U.S. cities. The album totaled 51 tracks, including explicit versions for San Diego ("I'm in Diego Bitch"), Las Vegas ("I'm in Las Vegas Bitch"), San Francisco ("I'm in the Bay Bitch"), and Phoenix ("I'm in the Valley Bitch"), as well as a Boroughs Mix for New York and remixes for Miami, San Diego (with Pitbull), and Las Vegas. Most versions were used by local radio stations instead of the original "I'm in Miami Trick". An October 2011 advert for Saints Row: The Third featured a similar variation swapping out Miami for Saints Row, but no full release of that version exists.
