Naked Attraction
A dating show where clothed singles choose from naked contestants.
Naked Attraction was a British television dating game show produced by Studio Lambert and broadcast on Channel 4. Hosted by Anna Richardson, the show ran from 25 July 2016 until 27 March 2024, airing for seven series. The series' premise involved a clothed single person presented with a gallery of six nude potential partners, who were hidden behind differently colored booths that concurrently revealed themselves from the bottom up. During its run, Naked Attraction was the subject of numerous complaints to Ofcom for its full-frontal nudity, but Ofcom declined to perform an investigation due to the lack of sexual activity and the series' timeslot.

Production
Filming a single episode could take up to twelve hours, though the contestant choosing a date only disrobed for fifteen minutes. The resulting date occurred at 9 a.m. the following day. The picker was accompanied at all times to prevent accidental encounters with contestants; if a contestant needed a toilet break, staff escorted them so the picker would not see them leave their booth. Contestants received no payment, but standby contestants were given £75 for being in the room.
Controversy
Viewers submitted numerous complaints to Ofcom about the programme's full-frontal nudity. Ofcom chose not to investigate, finding no breach of rules because the show contained no sexual activity and aired after the watershed. When the programme premiered in the United States on HBO Max in September 2023, the Parents Television and Media Council called it “pornographic... a new low” and demanded its removal from the service.
