The thirty-first series of the British medical drama television series Casualty aired on BBC One from 27 August 2016 to 29 July 2017, consisting of 44 episodes. The series featured a feature-length thirtieth anniversary special episode, "Too Old for This Shift", and concluded with a single-take episode titled "One". Erika Hossington continued as series producer, with Oliver Kent as executive producer until the end of the series.
