Plot
The game begins with a flash-forward at Planet Hollywood during Britney Spears' Piece of Me residency, where the player's character and Britney discuss how their careers started. It then flashes back to present day at Microbe Music, where the player works for a boss named Wallace, who asks them to restock CDs. The player's best friend Sara Williams calls to alert them that Britney is at Starbeans. The player asks Wallace to leave early, and at Starbeans they see Britney ordering a Strawberry Whippaccino. They convince the barista Astrid to sing at the open mic, and she performs for Britney. Britney compliments the player's voice and invites them to a party at String to meet important people. There, Britney introduces them to talent manager Anne Means, who tells them to get a gig at The Venom Room. At The Venom Room, they meet Della Jackson, who needs a replacement for Aston Kole. The player performs in Aston's place and gains their first fans. Outside, they argue with Aston, who becomes their rival. The player then auditions for Anne, who agrees to represent them and sends them to Sound Town to record a debut single, which charts globally and begins their path to fame.
