Case Closed: The Bride of Halloween is a 2022 Japanese animated mystery film directed by Susumu Mitsunaka. It is the twenty-fifth installment of the Case Closed film series, based on the manga by Gosho Aoyama. The film follows the 2021 entry The Scarlet Bullet and was released in Japan on April 15, 2022.

Plot
Former MPD superintendent Tsutomu Muranaka, about to marry Christine Richard, receives a death threat, prompting police protection and practice drills. Meanwhile, Yuya Kazami is knocked unconscious while chasing an escaped serial bomber, and Rei Furuya finds a bomb attached to his own neck. The next day, Kogoro, Ran, Conan, and the Detective Boys visit MPD headquarters and witness a man with a tablet that explodes, injuring Kogoro. Conan learns the explosion may connect to a bombing incident Rei and his classmates—Morofushi, Matsuda, and Date—had prevented years earlier. Later, the group is invited to Shibuya for wedding location scouting during Halloween. Christine asks the Detective Boys to retrieve a gift, but they find a bomb identical to one Rei defused three years ago and barely escape its explosion. Detective Chiba is kidnapped by Elenica Lavrentyeva, leader of Nado Unichtozit, who demands to meet the deceased Detective Matsuda. Takagi disguises himself as Matsuda and meets Elenica, who explains that her brother, a hostage from the earlier bombing, escaped with Matsuda's help but was later killed outside MPD headquarters.

The film debuted at number one in Japan, selling about 1,321,944 tickets in its first three days. By its eleventh weekend (June 25–26), it remained in the top 10, with total admissions of 6,478,540 and a gross of ¥9,029,251,300 ($66.79 million). After dropping out of the top 10 on its 13th weekend, it earned ¥34,587,050, bringing the cumulative total to ¥9,164,972,550 ($66.82 million). In China, the opening pushed the annual box office to ¥4 billion ($11.7 million); the film then fell to second place, adding ¥1.8 million for a three-weekend total of $19.4 million.
Release
The film premiered in Thailand on May 13–16, with an official release later changed from May 26 to May 25. It was released in Singapore and Malaysia on June 2, 2022; in Spain on July 8, 2022; in South Korea on July 13, 2022; in Indonesia on July 20, 2022; and in Vietnam on July 22, 2022. Philippine cinemas showed the movie in July 2023. Its North American premiere occurred at the 2024 Anime NYC convention in New York City on August 24, 2024, with a digital release the following day featuring an English dub.
