Tales for All
A series of children and family films launched in 1984.
Tales for All (known in French as *Contes pour tous*) is a franchise of family and children’s movies from the production company Les Productions la Fête. The series officially began in 1984, but it later included two earlier films that the company’s founder, Rock Demers, had made in the 1970s: 'The Christmas Martian' (1971) and 'The Mystery of the Million Dollar Hockey Puck' (1975). Alongside the films, the stories were also released as books. In 2015, filmmaker Dominic James bought Productions La Fête from Demers, and in the 2020s he started putting out new installments in the Tales for All series.

The series continued into the 2020s after Dominic James acquired the production company in 2015 and began releasing new films. The legacy of Tales for All lies in its sustained production of family-oriented films over decades, with a dedicated DVD release strategy in Canada.
