Plot

In 1993, a couple bought a house in Kampong Chhnang Province, hoping to live there and flip it for a profit. Shortly after moving in, both had the same dream: an old man offered them gold to buy the property. The next morning, the gold was there. They kept it but stayed put, until one morning they woke up in a field next to the house, terrified. They fled to relatives, but the spirits didn't stop. Bad luck struck anyone who stayed in the home—or even anyone who refused to believe it was haunted. The frightened villagers eventually hired a ghostbuster. He convinced the ghosts to stop tormenting people, in return for making sure nobody visited the house anymore. The village grew peaceful and happy, and the abandoned house became part of local folklore that continues to this day.
