BTS Bon Voyage is a reality show from South Korea that first aired in 2016 and features the boy band BTS. In the series, the seven members travel to various countries around the world. Each season also includes extra behind-the-scenes episodes released online.
The first season, which ran from July 5 to August 23, 2016, on V Live+, had eight episodes. To mark their third anniversary as a group, BTS visited Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The production team chose these Scandinavian destinations after listening to the members' suggestions. Six members packed and headed to the airport for a flight to Bergen, Norway, while V stayed behind a day due to his filming schedule for *Hwarang*. After landing, Jimin left his suitcase on the airport shuttle but got it back with RM's help, who explained the situation in English to the transport company. Once they settled into their hostel and assigned beds, the group threw a party for Jungkook's coming-of-age. The next day, they watched a parade, split into two teams to climb a mountain in Bergen, and returned by cable car, where V joined them for dinner. On day three, they took a boat to the Sognefjord and the village of Flåm. The staff helped the members prank V into thinking his bag—containing his documents—was lost. The following morning, they moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where they split up to find their hotel by asking locals for directions and explored the city. On the fifth day, while the others toured Gamla Stan, RM went to the embassy for a travel permit after losing his passport. After a cruise to Helsinki, Finland, he had to return to South Korea early. In Finland, the six remaining members camped, traveled by camper van to Rovaniemi, explored the town by bicycle, played in a sauna, and received letters from their managers and producer Bang Si-hyuk, plus a video message from RM. They ended the trip at Santa Claus Village.
The second season aired on V Live+ from June 27 to August 15, 2017, also with eight episodes. The group visited Hawaii at the end of the American leg of The Wings Tour, with a theme focused on friendship. During their stay, they went snorkeling, visited Akaka Falls, and explored Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Moving from the island of Hawaii to Oahu, they swam with sharks and toured the *Jurassic Park* theme park on quad bikes.
