The 28 Days Later film series began with a 2002 horror film that critics praised and audiences made a box office success.[1] The franchise includes a 2007 sequel, a graphic novel, a comic book series, and a new trilogy of sequels starting in 2025.[2] The zombie horror genre's popularity and definition were expanded and reshaped by this film series, according to critical analysis.[1][3]
