Mammoplasia

Mammoplasia is breast enlargement occurring normally or as a pathological condition.

Mammoplasia is the normal or spontaneous enlargement of the breasts. It occurs during puberty, pregnancy, and certain phases of the menstrual cycle. When excessive in females, it is termed macromastia; in males, it is called gynecomastia and considered pathological. Temporary enlargement can result from breast engorgement during lactation. Mastodynia often accompanies mammoplasia.
