Roberto Eugenio Cerro, known as 'Cherro' (23 February 1907 – 11 October 1965), was an Argentine football striker born in Barracas, Buenos Aires. He spent the majority of his career with Boca Juniors, scoring 221 goals in 305 official games for the club. This achievement made him Boca's highest-scoring player until Martín Palermo surpassed the record in 2010. Cherro ranks 5th among all-time Primera División top scorers with 236 goals in 345 league matches.
