Neo Egoist League

The next chapter announced for September 2025 at Blue Lock Egoist Fest 2025.

The Neo Egoist League is the third season of the Blue Lock anime series, officially announced at the "Blue Lock Egoist Fest 2025" event in September 2025. This season adapts the specific story arc of the same name from the manga, continuing the journey of Yoichi Isagi and his fellow players. While the first season focused on domestic selection and the second on the U-20 match, this installment expands the scope to a new competitive format. The series is produced by Eight Bit, following the trajectory established in previous seasons, and aims to depict the next phase of Jinpachi Ego's plan to forge the world's greatest striker through intense, ego-driven competition.

Lore & Background

The concept is introduced via official announcement in September 2025, signaling a shift from the domestic focus of the earlier arcs to a broader scope. The manga itself, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, has been serialized since August 2018 and stands as one of the best-selling series with over 60 million copies in circulation by June 2026. This specific arc follows the earlier success of the initial Blue Lock program and the subsequent "vs. U-20 Japan" season, which aired from October to December 2024. The league represents a continuation of the novel training regimen designed to create an egotistical striker capable of leading the Japan national team.
