Sae Itoshi
Sae Itoshi is a prodigious U-20 midfielder known as the best player in Japan and a member of the New Generation World XI, as well as the Re Al youth team. He is the older brother of Rin Itoshi, and after hearing about Blue Lock while renewing his passport in Japan, he decides to stay and later joins the Japan U-20 team to face the Blue Lock Eleven. Following that match, Sae returns to Spain but joins the newly constructed Japan U-20 team for the PIFA U-20 World Cup as part of Buratsuta 3. His personality underwent a devastating transformation during his four years in Spain, shifting from a deeply serious, supportive striker to a chillingly pragmatic, condescending midfielder who severed his bond with Rin.
