Hage

Hage is a village in the Forsaken Realm of the Clover Kingdom and the hometown of Asta and Yuno, who were raised in the orphanage of its church. It lies on the outskirts of the kingdom as a mostly undeveloped spread of houses on a wide grassy plain, with the huge skeleton of the demon Licht just outside the village and the petrified remains of the first Wizard King on its skull. Most villagers are farmers with little magic power, so few ever join the Magic Knights, and people living nearer the Royal Capital look down on them. The village grows Nomotatoes, a cheap and filling potato, and its landmarks are the orphanage church run by Father Orsi and Sister Lily, the Grimoire Tower where Drouot hands out grimoires at the Grimoire Acceptance Ceremony, and a schoolhouse the villagers made from an old storage building after Asta and Yuno became Magic Knights.
