Ring of Elysium was a free-to-play multiplayer online battle royale game developed by Aurora Studio and published by TCH Scarlet Limited, both subsidiaries of Tencent Games. It was released on Steam for early access in North America on 19 September 2018 and in Europe on 25 November 2018. The game servers were permanently shut down on December 1, 2023.

Plot
The game's narrative is carried through seasonal updates, each introducing three new characters with their own backstories. Season 1 places 60 players on the snowy mountain map Mt. Dione, where a disastrous snowstorm called Ymir forces them to fight until only four can escape via a rescue flight. Players choose between a snowboard, climbing gear, or a hang glider to traverse the terrain. Season 2 moves to Europa Island, where a volcanic eruption and descending ash cloud threaten the island.
A rescue helicopter arrives in the final safe zone to save four players before a pyroclastic flow erupts. In this season, players select from a hang glider, BMX bike, or grappling hook as their traversal mode. The story begins with characters Lynn, Hikage, and Gavin in Season 1, and continues with Bradley, Sylvia, and Alfonso in Season 2. Failing to stay ahead of the ash storm results in swift death from toxic gases.
