In Batman Confidential, he headed the project producing the prototype that became the Batwing. His history with Bruce dates back to Paris, where a young Bruce Wayne rescued him from muggers in Batman: Haunted Knight; later, Fox suggested starting a charity foundation, which Bruce eventually accepted.
