SC Corinthians Paulista (basketball)

Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (also known as S.C. Corinthians Paulista or S.C.C.P.) is a professional men’s basketball team from São Paulo, Brazil. It belongs to the larger multi-sport club of the same name.
The basketball section was established in 1929. Over the years, it has won the Brazilian Championship four times (1965, 1966, 1969, and 1996) and the South American Club Championship three times (1965, 1966, and 1969). The club also captured the 1965 FIBA Intercontinental Cup Test Tournament. Since the 2018–19 season, Corinthians has competed in the NBB, Brazil’s top professional league.
Home games are held at Ginásio Poliesportivo Wlamir Marques, a 6,500-seat arena named after former player Wlamir Marques.
