The Pumpkin Karver

Plot

Jonathan and his sister Lynn have relocated to a new town after Jonathan accidentally killed his sister's boyfriend Alec during a prank that went wrong. They attend a Halloween party, where Jonathan believes Alec has returned in a horrific form. Among the partygoers are Tammy, Spinner, Tammy's ex-boyfriend Lance, Rachel, Lance's friend Brian, best friends Yolanda and Vicki, and an old carver named Ben Wicket. After a confrontation with Lance, Jonathan suspects Alec is present but dismisses the thought.

Later, Rachel has sex in her van with Lance's friend A.J., but he leaves after she hits him. Rachel is then attacked by someone she believes is Alec, who carves her face. Brian tells Tammy that Lance was acting poorly, and soon after Tammy leaves, a killer forces Brian to walk backward onto an impaling object. Jonathan is stalked by Ben but escapes.

Yolanda and Vicki discover Rachel's body and warn Spinner and a friend, who are too drunk to believe them. Spinner's friend is struck with a scythe and decapitated. Jonathan disappears, and Lynn and Tammy search for him. Lynn encounters Lance, who attempts to rape her, but she escapes; Lance is later stabbed to death.

Tammy is chased by the killer, caught in a bear trap, and stabbed. Lynn and Jonathan find Tammy's body. Jonathan confronts Alec and stabs him in the same manner as the earlier prank. It is then revealed that Alec is Lynn's dead boyfriend returned for revenge, and Jonathan's trauma made him believe Alec was the killer.

The next morning, police arrive and question them. As Jonathan and Lynn prepare to leave, Jonathan transforms into Alec, revealing he was the killer and that Ben had been trying to kill him. Jonathan stabs Lynn to death.
