The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup was the 11th edition of the tournament, jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015. Australia won the final against New Zealand by 7 wickets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, securing their fifth World Cup title.

Australia and New Zealand last jointly hosted the Cricket World Cup in 1992. The tournament featured 14 teams split into two pools of seven, with the top four from each pool advancing to the knockout stage. The final drew a record one-day cricket crowd of 93,013 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
