Career

Willow Avalon got her start in 2012, when she posted her first original song, "Your Not Mine," to YouTube. That same year, she won her high school's battle of the bands competition, Ram Jam, at Monsignor Donovan Catholic High School, which earned her a spot on the kids' stage at Athfest. She also opened for the Drive-By Truckers at the 40 Watt Club. At 18, she signed her first record deal, but the contract was canceled before anything came of it. In 2021, she self-released the single "Drivin." She signed with Atlantic Records and Assemble Sound in 2023. Her debut EP, Stranger, came out on February 29, 2024, recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. In 2025, her songs "Tequila and Whiskey" and "Homewrecker" blew up on TikTok. That January, she dropped her debut album, Southern Belle Raisin' Hell, using her own mugshot from a past arrest as the cover art. She promoted it with a performance of "Homewrecker" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She had announced a headline tour in late 2024, starting in North America and later adding UK and Ireland dates; the tour kicked off on January 30, 2025, in Philadelphia. The Tennessean named her one of their Top Artists to Watch in 2025, and she played at Nashville's Exit/In on February 7, 2025. Her second album, Pink Pocket Pistol, arrived on June 26, 2026, and she plans to hit the road for the Pink Pocket Pistol Tour in July 2026, with stops across the US, Canada, and Europe.
