Jones was born Quintorris Lopez Jones on February 8, 1989, in Foley, Alabama. He played college football at Alabama, winning a national championship in 2009, and was drafted sixth overall by the Falcons in 2011. He led the league in receiving yards in 2015 and 2018, and helped lead the Falcons to Super Bowl LI. He was traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2021, and later played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles before being released after the 2023 season.
