The Andalite Chronicles
The Andalite Chronicles is narrated by Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul, later known as Prince Elfangor. It begins with him uploading his memory into a computer before facing Visser Three at an abandoned construction site, then proceeds as a flashback of his personal history from his time as an Aristh to that moment. Elfangor and fellow aristh Arbron rescued two humans, Loren and Hedrick Chapman, from the Skrit Na. Arbron became trapped as a Taxxon, and Elfangor became responsible for Alloran's infestation.
Eventually, Elfangor, Alloran, the Yeerk controlling him, and the humans fell into a black hole and used the Time Matrix to escape into a fragmented universe created from Elfangor, Loren, and the Yeerk's memories. Elfangor and Loren escaped to Earth, where he permanently morphed a human and married Loren. Before she gave birth to Tobias, the Ellimist repaired Elfangor's timeline and returned him to the Andalite homeworld, where he became a great hero, leading to the events of the first Animorphs book.
Visser
Visser is told from the perspective of the Yeerk Edriss 562, who during most of the main series was designated Visser One and later took over the body of Marco's mother, Eva, faking her own death. In the book, she is on trial for treason, prosecuted by Visser Three. Edriss 562 explains her backstory from her time inside a Hork-Bajir host on the Hork-Bajir world, to hijacking a ship and inhabiting a female Hollywood actor named Jenny Lines, to founding The Sharing inside another host, Lore David Altman, and finally to her current host Eva and her role in the Yeerk Empire.
The Ellimist Chronicles
As an unidentified Animorph lies on the brink of death, the Ellimist appears and recounts his origins as Toomin the Ketran and his transfiguration into the Ellimist. The Ketran race was virtually extinguished by the Capasins, who had seen images of violent virtual Ketran games broadcast into space and mistook them for real violence. Toomin was one of the few survivors, and these survivors became space nomads seeking a replacement for their home Ket.
Toomin became their leader and was the only survivor when the group crash-landed on a mostly aquatic planet. He was kept alive at the bottom of the sea by a planet-spanning entity called Father that accessed every corpse on it. Toomin defeated Father at music, grew too intelligent for him, and incorporated all the memories of corpses on the planet, becoming a blending of minds. After defeating Father, he wandered the universe resolving conflicts under the name Ellimist until he encountered the Crayak, who existed to destroy all life in galaxies.
Crayak engaged Ellimist in games with entire planets at stake, and Ellimist lost far more often than he won. Losing motivation, he temporarily retreated to the Andalite home planet, where the Andalites were a primitive collection of tribes. By living there as an Andalite, the Ellimist learned that the key to survival was to create as many offspring as possible, allowing life to multiply faster than the Crayak could wipe it out. With renewed vigor, he fought the Crayak, creating the Pemalites, creators of the Chee, who spread quickly until destroyed by the Crayak's Howlers.
The Crayak eventually lured the Ellimist into a black hole, destroying him physically, but the Ellimist found himself fully integrated into the fabric of space-time. Both then recognized direct combat as too dangerous for themselves and space-time.
