Lore & Background

The story is set eons after a war on the cube-like planet Quarton, where the four Legendary Tenkai Knights defeated Lord Vilius and his army. When Vilius returns more powerful, four teenage boys on Earth in 2034—Guren Nash, Ceylan Jones, Toxsa Dalton, and Chooki Mason—discover an interdimensional portal to Quarton and are immediately chosen by Boreas of the Guardians to become the new Tenkai Knights. They learn teamwork and friendship while facing Vilius, his henchmen Slyger and Granox, and later Dromus and Venetta.

Tenkai Knights represents a cross-media franchise combining a toy line, anime series, manga, video games, and home video releases. The series was produced by Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions, Spin Master Entertainment, and TV Tokyo, animated by Bones. Its significance lies in its international co-production model and its role in launching Spin Master's Ionix construction brick line.
